A careful comparison of lives of the two men reveals 27 distinct parallels between the lives of Jesus and Moses.

1. Both Moses and Jesus were born in a period when Israel was under foreign rule.
Exodus 1:8, 11; Luke 2:1-5

2. Cruel kings decided that both Moses and Jesus should be killed as infants.

3. The faith of both Moses’ and Jesus’ parents saved their lives.
